General Information
For the Orea Hotel Pyramida, the tram station “Malovanka” is the final destination of public transportation. For the Charles University, it is the “Můstek“ station of lines A and B.
By Plane:
1. Airport to Orea Hotel Pyramida Prague
When you arrive to Václav Havel Airport Prague find the bus station Terminal 1 or Terminal 2. There are ticket machines on both stations where you can purchase tickets for your journey (1x 32 CZK ticket is sufficient). Take bus no. 191 (direction Na Knížecí) to “Vypich” station and change for tram no. 22 (“Nádraží Hostivař”) or 25 (“Lehovec”). When you arrive to “Malovanka” station, the hotel will be right in front of you.
2. Airport to the Charles University (Opening venue)
From Václav Havel Airport Prague take bus no. 119 from Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 station (direction “Nádraží Veleslavín”) to the terminal “Nádraží Veleslavín”. Then change to subway (line A, direction “Depo Hostivař”) and get off at “Můstek” station.
When you arrive at “Můstek” leave the train to the left (direction 28. října) and walk to the end of the platform where escalators are located. Use the escalator and exit the subway station using another escalator next to the photobooth right in front of you. Then turn right to “Provaznická” street and continue walking until you reach “Max Mara” on the right and “Palmers” in front of you, then turn left. Walk 30 meters and you reach Stavovské theatre, you can walk around the theatre either way and you will find the entrance to the Charles University on the opposite side of the theatre (Ovocný trh 3, Praha 1).
By Train:
Main Railway Station – Orea Hotel Pyramida Prague
When you arrive to the Main Railway Station / “Hlavní nádraží”, take subway C line (direction Letňany) to “Vltavská” station. Then exit the subway and change to tram no. 25 (direction “Bílá Hora”). Get off at “Malovanka” station.
1 x 32 CZK (90 minutes) ticket is sufficient for the journey.
For the other railway stations, namely Nádraží Holešovice or Smíchovské nádraží, simply follow the above instructions. Take subway to the “Vltavská” station.
Main Railway Station – Charles University
From “Hlavní nádraží” station take the subway (C line, direction “Háje”) to “Muzeum” station and change to A line (direction “Nemocnice Motol” / “Nádraží Veleslavín”). Get off at “Můstek” and leave the train to the left (direction 28. října) and walk to the end of the platform where escalators are located. Use the escalator and exit the subway station using another escalator next to the photobooth right in front of you. Then turn right to “Provaznická” street and continue walking until you reach Max Mara on the right and Palmers in front of you, then turn left. Walk 30 meters and you reach Stavovské divadlo (Estate Theatre), you can walk around the theatre either way and you will find the entrance to the Charles University on the opposite side of the theatre.

Můstek – Charles University
If you arrive at “Můstek” leave the train to the left (direction 28. října) and walk to the end of the platform where escalators are located. Use the escalator and exit the subway station using another escalator next to the photobooth right in front of you. Then turn right to “Provaznická” street and continue walking until you reach Max Mara on the right and Palmers in front of you, then turn left. Walk 30 meters and you reach Stavovské divadlo (Estate Theatre), you can walk around the theatre either way and you will find the entrance to the Charles University on the opposite side of the theatre.
Tickets can be purchased in ticket machines (at subway stations, vending machine at the conference hotel reception, airport, tabacco shop, etc.) and it is necessary to stamp it in a ticket machine in the bus or before entering the subway (usually in front of escalators).
Prague Subway plan
By Bus:
If you arrive by bus, you will most probably arrive at the Florenc Bus Terminal. From there, take the red subway line C (direction Letňany) to “Vltavská” station. Then exit the subway and change to tram no. 25 (direction “Bílá Hora”). Get off at “Malovanka” station.
1 x 32 CZK (90 minutes) ticket is sufficient for the journey.
By Car:
The hotel can be conveniently reached by car. Parking in the hotel car park is available for EUR8/day.
Taxi
If you prefer taxi, there are taxi stands located in front of the Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 at the Prague Airport. For discounted prices, you can preorder a taxi of the AAA taxi company by phone +420 222 333 222. You can also download an application onto your smartphone. Even cheaper fare is applied to rides ordered by the application. For more information, refer to the following link http://www.aaataxi.cz/en. When taking taxi in the Prague center, we advise to use the cars waiting at official stands marked by “Fair Price” signs or to order a taxi by phone or the application. Also, Uber has been available in Prague as well.
